When designing the Natural Ireland Alphabet and Irish Language Alphabet, my personal hope was to inspire children to love nature through art and expand their creative minds in hopes that the love of nature will stay with them their whole lives. Fiadh + Finn was created based on my love of our Irish surroundings and of Ireland’s rich flora and fauna.
These two booklets, one to accompany each Alphabet type, are full of facts and information for children and their parents to learn about the different wildlife and plants illustrated. And to encourage exploration and understanding of Irelands native wildlife.
One booklet relates to Ireland’s Natural Alphabet (A-Z), the other booklet relates to the Irish Language Alphabet where all illustrations are painted according to their Irish names.
